Why I Believe Travel Should Be Designed with Intention

Travel isn’t just about getting away, it’s about going deeper.

In a world that often celebrates busyness and “bucket lists,” I believe in something quieter, slower, and more meaningful: travel designed with intention.

This philosophy is at the heart of TRVLDSGN.CO, and the reason I became a travel advisor in the first place.

 Intention Changes Everything

When you travel with intention, you’re not chasing the next photo-op or checking off cities. You're creating space to connect with new cultures, with the people you meet, and with yourself.

It’s about:

  • Choosing destinations that match your mood, not just your budget

  • Staying in places that inspire calm, wonder, or creativity

  • Moving at a pace that lets you fully experience, not just observe

Intentional travel lets the journey shape you, not just entertain you.

My Personal Journey

As a military spouse, I’ve lived in a variety of places. I’m constantly adapting, re-rooting, and reimagining what home and movement look like. Travel has never been just leisure for me; it’s been a way to find meaning, beauty, and stillness in unfamiliar places.

That perspective informs how I design every journey for my clients. No two itineraries are the same, because no two travelers are the same.

It’s About the Little Things

It might be a quiet courtyard café in Lisbon. A sunrise walk through Kyoto’s bamboo groves. A perfectly timed pause between flights. These are the details I care about because they’re the ones that stay with you.

Intentional travel isn’t about doing more, it’s about choosing what matters most.

Travel Designed to Inspire

That’s not just my tagline. it’s my compass.

I design journeys that go beyond the expected. For clients who want to feel something. For travelers who believe the world has more to offer than resorts and souvenirs. For anyone who’s ready to be moved, not just transported.

If that sounds like you, I’d love to help you plan your next journey.

Let’s create something meaningful together.
